Hi everyone,

Another great month at Wenty Golf. It's fantastic to see our junior members stepping up and winning competitions — well done Anthony! The Ambrose on 18 October is shaping up to be a great day, so get your entries in early. A reminder that 2026/27 membership fees are now due — please renew promptly. And if anyone has ideas for fundraising for our new greens mower, we're all ears.

💰 Membership Fees Now Due — 2026/27 Season

Your annual membership is now due. Please renew promptly to continue playing on our volunteer-run course. These local volunteers work tirelessly to improve the course and promote golf in our community.

How to Pay:

• Bank Transfer — BSB 633 000, Account 151461746 (reference your name)
• EFT at the Clubrooms on Competition Days (Thursday & Sunday)
• New members — complete the membership form from Howard, or call 0439 676 028

🌿 Course & Maintenance

Ongoing greens maintenance throughout June-July with tree trimming, branch removal and fairway mowing, thanks to our ESI volunteer trainee park rangers.

👥 Welcome New Members

A warm welcome to Anthony O'Farrell, our newest junior member who's already making his mark on the course — winning the Thursday Club Competition outright on 9 July!

🚜 Fundraising — New Greens Mower

Wentworth Community Bendigo Bank has made a commitment of $30,000 if we can match this and the remaining amount in order to purchase a new Greens Mower ranging in price from $65,000 to $75,000. So we are looking to fundraise at least $35,000 before June 1st 2027. If you have fundraising ideas or contacts, please contact the club.

🚗 Rental Cart Availability

As the Vendi Cart we have had for hire has been returned, we are presently setting up a new "Tap and Go" payment system & one of our petrol carts to be available for hire for visitors. This cart will also be available for members at a reduced price any day of the week, when a member enters their phone number and pays at the payment terminal.
